In this Lesson
These four bold, adventurous exercises will help you move beyond passive reflection and into active Discovery. By stepping into new experiences, pushing past fear, and immersing yourself in different realities, you’ll gain clarity on what you truly want to be and create a more aligned, fulfilling future.
-
Activity: Choose a day (or even a weekend) to fully embody the person you want to become. Dress, act, and make decisions as if you are already living your dream life.
How to Do It:
Define a clear vision of your ideal self—what job do you have? How do you start your day? How do you talk to people?
Dress in a way that reflects this future version of yourself.
Make decisions based on what they would choose—order the food they would eat, engage in activities they would enjoy, and talk with confidence as they would.
Reflection: What felt natural? What felt uncomfortable? What parts of this version of yourself do you want to bring into your daily life?
-
Activity: Do something that genuinely scares you—something that challenges a personal fear, pushes you past self-doubt, or forces you to trust yourself.
Ideas:
Take a rock climbing or zip-lining adventure.
Try an open mic night or improv class.
Sign up for a competition in something you’ve never done before.
Travel solo to an unfamiliar place.
Reflection: What emotions did you experience before, during, and after? What limiting beliefs did you break through? How did this challenge reveal new strengths or passions?
-
Activity: Go on a solo adventure in nature with a journal, no strict plan, and one rule: Let your intuition guide you.
How to Do It:
Pick a trail, a city street, or a park—but don’t plan your route.
As you walk, ask yourself "Where do I feel most drawn to?" and let curiosity lead you.
Every 20-30 minutes, pause and write:
What am I feeling right now?
What draws my attention the most?
How does this journey reflect where I want to go in life
Reflection: Where did your intuition lead you? How does this process mirror your decision-making in life? What insights about your future did you uncover?
-
Activity: Identify someone who has a career, lifestyle, or energy that inspires you—and shadow them for a day.
How to Do It:
Find a mentor, even if it’s someone you admire from afar.
Ask if you can observe their work, have coffee with them, or even assist them for a few hours.
Pay close attention to their habits, mindset, and decision-making.
If you can’t shadow in person, spend a day immersing yourself in their books, podcasts, or interviews.
Reflection: What did you learn from their way of living? What parts of their lifestyle or career resonate with you? How can you apply their lessons to your own path?
